Abstract

The article analyzes the general trends and features of the current state of the educational system in China. Author analyzes dynamics of some important indicators in educational development, such as the number of schools – from kindergartens to universities, the number of university students, percentage of students in general population, as well as some qualitative indicators. Great attention is paid to the importance and prospects of government support at all levels of the Chinese education system.
